Book Tag: Totally Should’ve

Hello, fellow readers!

It’s Melia here with a book tag!

Today I will be doing the Totally Should’ve Book Tag. This was created by Emma @ emmmabooks. You can watch her video here.

I was not tagged to do this but I thought it would be something fun to do (and to make up for our lack of posting recently!).

Let’s get started!

1. Totally should’ve gotten a sequel

I haven’t read too many stand-alone novels recently and most of the ones that I have read worked really well on its own but All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven seriously deserves a sequel. I don’t really know what would happen in it but it would be pretty amazing.

2. Totally should’ve had a spin-off series

I am going to go with the obvious answer here. The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling. I know that there is a sort of spin-off (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) but we need more of the wizarding world!

3. An author who totally should write more books

I am definitely going to go with Victoria Aveyard. I absolutely adored Red Queen and Glass Sword (and I can’t wait for King’s Cage). I really hope that she writes more after this series is over!

4. A character who totally should’ve ended up with someone else

Eadlyn Schreve from The Selection Series. I can’t say anymore because of spoilers!!

5. Totally should’ve ended differently

I could easily use the same answer as I did for the last question but I am going to try and choose something else. The One by Sarah Crossan! I really think it should’ve ended differently!

6. Totally should’ve had a movie franchise

A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray should’ve had a movie franchise. I think the travelling through dimension would look super cool on the big screen.

7. Totally should’ve had a TV show

I would watch Girl Online by Zoe Sugg as a TV show. It would be super cool to see all of the casting. It would be a nice, light, fluffy show to brighten your mood.

8. Totally should’ve had only one point of view

The 5th Wave by Rick Yancy would be less confusing if it had one point of view. I can see why the author chose to use multiple POVs’ though.

9. Totally should have a cover change

I haven’t actually read this book (I want to) but I think that Solitare by Alice Oseman should have a cover change. The cover isn’t too bad, but I am not really a fan of it.

10. Totally should’ve kept the original covers

My answer to this is another book I haven’t read and that book is Unrivaled by Alison Noel. This book only recently got a cover change but I sort of preferred the original covers.

11. Totally should’ve stopped at book one

This is a difficult question. Mainly because most books are series because the story isn’t finished or something similar but I think that Matched by Ally Condie should’ve stopped at book one. I actually really enjoyed the first book but it went down hill from there.

I tag:

Anyone who wants to do this tag!

(I’m feeling lazy today! Sorry!!)

(Also, sorry for the lack of posting recently. We will try to post more often!)
