Synopsis (From Goodreads):
Anna is happy in Atlanta. She has a loyal best friend and a crush on her coworker at the movie theatre, who is just starting to return her affection. So she’s not too pleased when her father decides to send her to a boarding school in Paris for her senior year. But despite not speaking a word of French, Anna meets some cool new friends, including the handsome Étienne St. Clair, who quickly becomes her best friend. Unfortunately, he’s taken–and Anna might be too. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with the French kiss she’s been waiting for?
Let me just clear something up. The cover looks cheesy (there was a cover change!), the blurb sounds ever more cheesy, but the book is not cheesy in the slightest (Well, maybe a bit, but in a good way!). This book is the perfect cure for sadness and every other thing that no one likes. It is so adorable and I. Just. Love. It. So. Much.
Anna and the French Kiss just made me so happy and life was fabulous. I don’t even know how I lived without this book. It deserves way more than 5 stars.
The opening was perfect. The middle was perfect. The ending was even more perfect! (Oh my gosh, it is really windy outside right now. There is literally a tree in my backyard that looks like it will snap any second now.) I don’t think there is a way this book could be any better. PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT!!
Anna and the French Kiss had me laughing, happy crying, angry crying, sad crying (all in a good way). I don’t know what else to say other than…
GOT TO THE BOOKSTORE OR THE LIBRARY OR SOME BOOK PROVIDING PLACE AND PICK UP THIS BOOK. IT IS THE BEST THING TO EXIST IN LIFE!!! (Was that proper grammar?)
