Hello,
It is Melia and today, I have prepared a book list for you!
We recently posted a Help us Improve post and the majority of the results told us that you would like to see more books lists, so that is what I have here.
Some books to read at the beach…
1. The Siren by Kiera Cass
I don’t need to explain this one. Just look at the cover.
2. Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
The title says it all.
3. Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson
Honestly, anything by Morgan Matson is suitable for the beach.
4. Girl Online by Zoe Sugg
This book is so sweet. It is not as summery, but it’s an adorable, relaxed read. Mostly.
5. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I haven’t actually read this, but Laurena has and the cover reminds me of summer. Does it have anything to do with summer?
Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them?
Let us know in the comments!
I can’t wait to read The Siren!!

Melia, of course Fangirl has nothing much to do with summer! But it is a very good book!

I really need to jump on the Morgan Matson train already!
My goal this year is to fall in love with a contemporary.

That is a good goal. Since You’ve Been Gone is very good. I really recommend it.

Thank you 🙂
It’s one I’ve been eyeing for a few months. I’ll give it a go throughout the summer.

By the way, Fangirl is mainly set in winter and there is no mention of the beach. 😜

Oh well, the colours on the cover remind me of the beach. Thanks for letting me know!

The middle 3 books are some of my absolute favourites, and I haven’t read Fangirl yet either, but I really want to! After reading and loving Eleanor & Park, I feel like I should soon!

Yes, they are so amazing! I couldn’t believe that authors could write such amazing stories.

Morgan Matson has the best summer reads, especially her newest release The Unexpected Everything. Fangirl has nothing to do with a beach, but it is such cute contemporary it can be read anywhere!

I agree with The Siren 😀 It’s has such a calm, soothing atmosphere; it relaxes you. However, I would read Fangirl during the fall because of school so I can relate more intensely ehhe!! Nice list and, you’re right, any Morgan Matson book is suitable for the summer season. ❤

Great list! I’ve read Fangirl and loooved it! I haven’t read The Siren, but I’ve read The Selection series for the author, are they any similar?

They have their similarities, (writing style, development of characters, etc.) but the plots are different.
Hope this helped!
